Why Blogger is the Best Platform for All Blogs

Right now, im not writing this on a PC or laptop. Im sitting outside on my phone 😂. I find it crazy that people go to all these reasons to use Wordpress or all this other junk when you could just use Blogger, particuarly if you are affluent with HTML like I am.

That being said, here are 5 reasons why you should turn leaf with your blog to Blogger.com:

Part of the outside near where I live.

1. Accessibility
Blogger and the respective phone app are both modern clean UI alternatives to wordpress. If you know HTML - even though you dont need to- your all set. Today, when it came into my mind that I wasnt getting out enough, I immediately installed the Blogger app and sat down next to the fish pond outside.

Keep in mind that Google has all the features you need and need integrated as well:
1. Google Adsense
2. Wide variety of links including affiliate links
3. Ability to add image embeds
4. Ability to embed music and videos through YouTube seamlessly without limits
5. Enough HTML compatibility to design fast sites like this one with Gemini AI
6. Dont forget the additional "gadgets" page under themes which has all these interesting plugins for people to install and use!

7. Potential Firefox mobile integrations- its impossible to run desktop sites like this one through Chrome, but Firefox has all the features you need.

2. Cost
There is zero cost for the Blogger platform, and security and maintenance is free too! Talking about security, its handled completely by Google- which has some disadvantages:

1. Google may disagree with views that you hold and block you and your website- though in some cases this is well deserved.

2. Google manages every Blogger site and is pulling away their attention to Google Sites- Bloggers younger brother. This means less support services for you, particuarly if you generate significant income for Google through your blog.

3. Outdated but not broken or insecure software. If you know what your doing and take measures against getting your blog hacked, then your safe. But if your password is 123, then your going to be in for a long ride with Google Support.

4. Google offers auto comment security, but if your away from your phone, you might be f*ck*d. Why? Google doesnt have security features to moderate comments on there mobile app.

5. Google has expierence with Bloggers second younger brother YouTube and if you know the dirty stuff that gets uploaded there- you'll know that Google knows how to moderate.

3. Security
I think this deserves its own section because there is such a great advtantage to using a tool like blogger over other apps that risk not working properly. Google manages all your Blogger security. If they see Blogger malfunctioning because somehow you've screwed up and gotten your account hackee, then your in for trouble.

Make sure that you all the content that you submit is not AI generated junk. Honestly, with the rise of AI im recent years I think its 200% worth it to add an AI as a collaborator on your blog for a few security reasons:

1. Comment moderation- if you have a popular blog, Blogger by default has "moderation" to sometimes. What is "sometimes?" What will it look for? In all honestly, I trust a self programmed AI to search for abusive content than the Google algorithim because Google does not define "sometimes."

2. Spellcheck- make a mistake- get something wrong, AI has your back covered. Build a custom AI with all the free tools out there today to play a sound when ir detects a fact as wrong. Then allow spelling corrections to be automatically made and undoable through whatever app your using.

Gemini's suite of tech makes the above opportunities promising.

4. Readability
The readability of these sites with default themes is terrible, but its GREAT with custom HTML ones. After Google's major 2024 and minor 2026 update there have been some awesome changes to website performance. However, websites are still critically limited because of one thing: Google does not want to update Google's old HTML code in fear of breaking a large part of former active internet blogs.

This is perfectly fair, but there is a workaround: add a new and improved HTML language and stop allowing for new blogs to made in the old HTML language. Furthermore, expose the editor in the Themes menu to allow for better editing. To further encourage users integrate Gemini AI into the theme designer somehow.

5. Web Attachments
The customization a user gets is beyond incredible. I can edit anything I want and export the HTML with a simple copy and paste in the Themes console. By the way, Google Sites is garbage for this because it force a header and removes the side of the webpage for some reason. You have to use a full page embed called an <iframe> which functions more like an image than an actual webpage- your Google Sites webpage may end up looking like trash.
"If two programs do the same job, the shorter is usually better." - William Occam, Occam's Razor.

 This isn't all true though.

Google Sites does excel in some areas. The fact the Google offers a drag and drop website builder despite it being garbage and very limited is quite surprising and promising. All they have to do now is update it so that it isn't as trash.

Goodbye!
