Were a Subset of Humanity Born in the Wrong Era?

This blog post is very controversial and contains more ideas surrounding my opinion on certain topics like the current state of the internet and its effect on people worldwide unlike my typical physics posts.

Why?

This world is so geared towards capitalist tendencies like the 9-5 that we shove it down the throats of our children. Western school starts at a young age teaching our students in their teens how to be a degenerate and waste their lives partying and drinking along with drug culture. People are allowed to have fun, but that should end when priorities start happening, or when an individuals mental health has recessed a state of decay.

I'm not advocating for forced action, I'm simply asking for more practical education.
However, then we don't teach our students to guard their mental health even foregoing simple practical free exercises like (Medito) meditation for medications.

Science shows that this pattern of work stresses people and destroys their mental health.

Inaction creates heavy delays in learning where Western education systems have only taken small steps to mitigate this issue. VET courses in Australia are extremely limited.

Personally, if you desperately want to pursue a university degree but you hate high school in Australia, leave early and get a certificate IV in something or work a entry level job for 2 years. It has more weight in the workforce than a 90 ATAR 😂.

Unfortunately, this is isn't the end of the story:

25% of Gen Z find that somehow they've been replaced by a machine by the time they come out of uni. However, that's a personal shortcoming and something to be aware off. If you truly want to work in a field, then you'll probably be working alongside a machine.

If you're interested in physics, there are degrees which the modern world values more than ever. People who want to work in physics should consider getting:
- Bachelors in Science Majoring in Nuclear and Radiation Physics Honors

These are just the start. There are other roles in this work:
- Reactor engineer
- Materials scientists- "how do you contain a 150 million degree Celsius star in a metal cage?"
- Control systems engineer

Here is my personal plan:
- Secure myself with stable low entry level job
- Move to a place with cheap rent and easy public transport access to the uni campus
- Start Bachelor in Science
- Pick electives with the least workload
- Put all my energy into the degree
- Fast track progress and potentially avoid getting a PHD with various computer skills
- Get a role in Sydney or maybe even France at ITER

That's it for today.
